Child Development Center
The Child Development Center (CDC) is a bright, spacious and inviting environment for young children ages 0-36mos. Our caring and passionate teaching staff works effortlessly to provide exceptional early childhood education. The CDC fosters individual learning by providing an engaging and flexible curriculum that’s designed to inspire lifelong learning in young children. The CDC has been certified by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This prestigious “seal of approval,” is conferred on comparatively few childcare centers in the U.S. More importantly, Covenant House Washington’s parenting young people have the support of the CDC and may leave their infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment while they pursue family-sustaining jobs, education and training.
The Child Development Center is located in Covenant House Washington’s Community Service Center at 2001 Mississippi Avenue SE, Washington, D.C.
