Covenant House Washington Board of Directors Welcomes New Chair- Guy Brami, Gelberg Signs

Guy-brami-e1438627446623Washington, DC (July 30, 2015) – Covenant House Washington (CHW) is pleased to announce the election of Guy Brami as the new Chair of its Board of Directors.

Brami is the Principal Partner of Gelberg Signs, a full service sign company established in 1941 designing, fabricating, installing and servicing signs throughout the US. He’s also President and Principal Partner in Gelberg AEC, LLC a CBE Architecture, Engineering and Construction Consulting firm in the District.  Brami is the President and a Founding Member of DCCBE formerly the Washington Development Industry Council (WDIC). He’s currently the President of BNI Bethesda.

“It’s quite humbling and an honor to serve those who are in need of the services provided by CHW,” said Brami.  “I’m excited to work with fellow Board Members, Dr. Henson and CHW staff to raise awareness and support for the youth and young adults in our community.”

Guy has served as a Director on Covenant House Washington’s Board since 2011.  CHW is the largest nonprofit provider serving homeless and disconnected youth within the national capital region since 1995.  Services include a 36 bed immediate housing center, transitional housing programs, street outreach, workforce development training, job placement, education classes, prevention services program for middle students, and a nationally accredited Child Development Center.
